The verdict
There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is not currently playing in Hong Kong cinemas. 165 minutes.
What it is about
In a world where everyone has a secret and nobody can be trusted, one spy accidentally turns the entire game upside down. Blending high-stakes espionage with big laughs, comic chaos, and crowd-pleasing entertainment, this fresh spin on the spy genre delivers a complete family entertainer. It's a fast-paced spy comedy where nobody knows what's going on, least of all the hero.
What to expect
A spy who derails his own mission through sheer incompetence — that's the engine of Udta Teer, a Hindi spy comedy opening in Hong Kong on 24 October 2026. Ayushmann Khurrana plays the agent at the centre of the chaos, with Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Brijendra Kala filling out the ensemble. Directors Akash A Kaushik and Aakash Kaushik keep the tempo brisk, leaning on mistaken identities and escalating misunderstandings rather than action set-pieces. At 165 minutes, the movie asks for patience from a comedy audience, and the broad, family-friendly register means the gags are pitched to land with as many people as possible. The Hong Kong release is in Hindi with English subtitles, playing standard digital only — no IMAX or 3D sessions are scheduled.
