What it is about

Once hailed as the strongest hitman in history, Taro Sakamoto retired from the underworld after falling in love. After getting married and having a child, he now runs a convenience store—and has put on some weight!
However, Sakamoto is suddenly placed on a bounty of 1 billion yen, and assassins from all sides swarm in. To protect his beloved family and their peaceful everyday life, he must stick to his no-killing code and fight a life-or-death battle against his enemies!

Taro Sakamoto was the underworld’s deadliest hitman. Now he runs a convenience store, has a wife and kid, and carries a dad bod. The 1-billion-yen bounty on his head means that quiet life is over. Yuuichi Fukuda directs this live-action manga adaptation as a slapstick action-comedy: Ren Meguro plays Sakamoto as a man who refuses to kill, so the fights lean on improvised weapons and physical gags rather than bloodshed. The tone stays light even when the choreography gets busy. It opens September 17 with a IIB certificate, running 129 minutes in Japanese with English and Chinese subtitles. Across Hong Kong it has 94 screenings over the next seven days, spread over 15 cinemas in 11 districts, with tickets from HK$60.
