What it is about

The Japanese national soccer team has long suffered from a lack of scoring power. To break this deadlock, a top-secret project named “Blue Lock” was launched.
Three hundred high school strikers gathered at the facility must undergo numerous trials, with only the final survivor becoming the world's greatest striker. However, the cruel condition was that those eliminated would permanently lose their eligibility to join the national team.
Can the unknown high school player Yoichi Isagi (Fumiya Takahashi) defeat 299 others and become the strongest ace striker!?

What to expect

A live-action take on the manga, Blue Lock strands 300 high school strikers in a facility where only one will be kept for the national team — everyone else is permanently barred. The movie follows Yoichi Isagi (Fumiya Takahashi) through the trials, trading light sports-comedy beats for the psychological friction and one-on-one rivalries that drive the source material.
