The verdict

There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is not currently playing in Hong Kong cinemas. 91 minutes.

What to expect

Pierre Le Gall’s drama follows a young truck driver on his delivery rounds through a French industrial port, where he crosses paths with an older man. Shot in natural light with long, unbroken takes, the movie leans into the textures of its setting — loading bays, sun-bleached streets, the hum of a refrigerated trailer. Alexis Manenti and Julian Swiezewski carry the story through what is left unsaid rather than what is spoken. The 91-minute runtime is tight for a slow-burn piece, and the documentary-like restraint won’t suit anyone looking for a conventional romance. It screens as part of HKLGFF 2026, opening 6 September in limited release. French dialogue, English subtitles. Certificate not yet listed.
