What it is about
From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left two friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline. In FALL 2: DEADPOINT, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.
What to expect
The Spierig brothers move the vertigo from a tower to a Thai rock face, and the shift works in the movie’s favour. Where the first movie trapped its characters on a single rusting structure, this one strands them on a route where the holds are real granite and the exposure is genuine — the camera stays close enough that you feel every slipped foot and every glance down. Harriet Slater and Arsema Thomas carry the bulk of the 98 minutes, and the movie is smart enough to let silence and wind do as much work as the dialogue.
It opens in Hong Kong on 3 September 2026, playing at six cinemas across six districts. Tickets from HK$60. English audio, English and Chinese subtitles. Check individual venues for format and certificate details.
