What to expect
A single bcSunday screening this week is the only chance to catch this talky two-hander on a Hong Kong screen. Dakota Johnson plays a woman who steps into a New York cab after a flight; Sean Penn is the driver who turns the ride into an unexpected confessional. The movie stays inside the taxi for almost its entire 100 minutes, so the weight falls squarely on the dialogue and the two performances. It is a quiet, character-driven piece — no set-pieces, no twists, just strangers talking. Anyone who finds that premise claustrophobic should sit this one out. Rated IIB (under-12s need adult guidance). One cinema, one show: check the date and book ahead. Tickets from HK$95.
