The verdict

Audiences rate it 8.1 out of 10 on TMDB across 154 votes — a strong score. It is playing 2 times at 2 cinemas across 1 district, from HK$70 to HK$140 depending on cinema and time. The cheapest seat is at Emperor Cinemas Macau (Lisboeta), HK$70. 148 minutes.

What it is about

Bonded in their youth and separated by tragedy, an astronaut and a free diver bend the laws of space and time in their efforts to be together again.

What to expect

A Thai sci-fi romance that spends its 148 minutes jumping between the deep sea and deep space, following a free diver and an astronaut trying to undo a childhood tragedy. The tone is earnest and the scale is deliberately huge — the tagline claims a love 'bigger than the universe and deeper than the ocean' — but the audience score of 8.1 from 154 votes suggests it lands more as a character-driven GL (girls' love) story than a hard sci-fi puzzle. Sarocha Chankimha and Becky Armstrong lead. This 'Special Version' is barely hanging on: only two screenings across two cinemas in a single district over the next seven days. In Thai with English subtitles. Tickets from HK$70.

It will definitely be an unforgettable memory for me in my life. I believe that most people are like me, looking for love with deep desire by travelling to the parallel universes with Kath and Lin. Love is beautiful no matter which time and space we are in. […]
