There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is playing 20 times at 4 cinemas across 4 districts, from HK$60 to HK$100 depending on cinema and time. The cheapest seat is at B+ cinema apm (Kwun Tong) in Kwun Tong, HK$60. 117 minutes.

What it is about

On the lush, remote Tokishima lies a mysterious place known as the “Spirited Away Cove.”
After leaving the city due to personal circumstances, high school student Kazuki Tsukigase begins a new life on the island. One early summer day, he discovers an unconscious girl at the cove.
Her name is Nanao Aika.
Claiming to have come from the year 1974, Nanao is taken in by Kazuki and a man named Takatsu, who happens to be at the cove when they find her. Intrigued by the mysterious girl, Kazuki begins visiting her after school, until one day Nanao reveals a shocking truth.
When the past and the present converge, the future of two people bound by hidden secrets begins to unfold.

What to expect

Junichi Wada directs this anime adaptation of a novel, set almost entirely on the fictional island of Tokishima. The animation leans into the island’s lush, secluded landscapes, and the story unfolds at a measured pace, spending long stretches in quiet conversation between the two leads. Voice performances from Hiiro Ishibashi and Anna Nagase carry the emotional register, with Hiroshi Tamaki in a key supporting role. The movie is playing at four cinemas across four Hong Kong districts, with 20 screenings over the next seven days. Tickets start at HK$60. Japanese audio, English and Chinese subtitles. 117 minutes.
