Kenji Tanigaki stages a 113-minute gauntlet of hand-to-hand combat where every corridor and back alley becomes a fighting pit. Xie Miao plays a father who stops waiting for the police the moment he realises they are part of the problem, and Joe Taslim’s journalist is the only other person with nothing left to lose. The two tear through a trafficking network in a series of close-quarters fights that lean on the cast’s physicality—Yayan Ruhian, JeeJa Yanin and Brian Le all get moments to show why they were cast. The movie is rated III, so the violence is unflinching, and it is playing a genuinely tiny window: one cinema, one district, two screenings in the next seven days. Tickets start at HK$90. English and Chinese subtitles are available.

**A few of my brain cells ended themselves** The current 7+ rating is completely dishonest. The movie is beyond stupid. The whole movie has barely six and a half lines of dialogue, with the rest being brainless dancing (fighting).
