What it is about

Thirty years ago, the Super Ying Association led by Superman Wang Changhai crushed the aliens. Years later, Wang Changhai was appointed to return to his hometown to set up a combat squad, but in the town of Rheinland, which had been peaceful for many years, human feelings and courtesies have left Wang Changhai overwhelmed, creating layers of obstacles to Wang's ability to complete his mission.

Wang Changhai once led the Super Ying Association to victory against an alien invasion. Thirty years later, he is sent back to his quiet hometown of Rheinland to set up a combat squad, only to find that small-town life and its obligations have no use for a superhero’s methods. The movie plays the clash between old-school duty and local indifference for deadpan comedy, with Bai Jingting and Wei Xiang anchoring a cast that includes Zhang Guoqiang, Su Xiaoding, Huang Cailun, and Liu Liu.
