What it is about
Paris, 1835. At twenty-five, Frédéric Chopin is the toast of Parisian salons, adored by the aristocracy and the King. Behind the glamour of nighttime escapades, he conceals an illness with wit and humor. Though time is slipping through his fingers, he refuses to slow down. He composes masterpieces while teaching to make ends meet. Admired by friends and adored by women, Chopin ultimately discovers that amidst the fleeting fame, music is the most important thing in his life.
