The verdict

There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is playing 1 time at 1 cinema across 1 district, from HK$100. The cheapest seat is at PREMIERE ELEMENTS in Tsim Sha Tsui, HK$100. Category IIB · 82 minutes.

What it is about

The Sauvage family is desperate to be loved. Carole knows her employees hate her and is determined to win them over at any cost. Jacques has never worked a day in his life and doesn’t feel respected. As for their 16 y.o introverted son Blaise, who lacks a personality, he always goes along with everyone and agrees to everything… So much so that when he meets this girl, Josephine, he politely embarks on a revolutionary, violent, and completely impromptu crusade.

What to expect

A French animated comedy about a family of three who each handle the fear of being disliked in their own disastrous way. The mother tries to buy her employees’ love, the father craves respect without ever having held a job, and their teenage son is so agreeable he has no personality at all — until he meets a girl and, with impeccable manners, launches a violent, improvised crusade. The animation is dry and the satire cuts close to the bone; the IIB certificate reflects a dark, awkward humour aimed squarely at adolescents and adults. Part of the anifest 動画藝術祭 2026 programme, it screens just once in the coming week at a single cinema. 82 minutes, in French with English subtitles. Tickets from HK$100.
