The verdict

There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is not currently playing in Hong Kong cinemas. 86 minutes.

What it is about

The irreducible Gauls are turned into harmless children after a rare youth elixir accidentally ended up into the magic potion. To find the antidote and save the village from the Roman attack, Asterix and Obelix embark on a crazy journey to the far away Kingdom of Nubia.

What to expect

Alexandre Heboyan directs this 86-minute French animation, screening in Hong Kong from 10 October 2026 in French with English subtitles. The premise is a buddy comedy built on a single joke: Asterix and Obelix are accidentally turned into children, and must reach the Kingdom of Nubia to find an antidote before the Romans overrun their village. The movie carries an FCP 2026 certificate. No Cantonese or Mandarin dub is listed, and no premium large format screenings are announced, so a standard cinema will do.
