What it is about
Young CEO, Sun-woo(played by Han So Hee), the 10 billion revenue legend in just three years making her brand WOO22(Woo-two-two) a dark horse in fashion, has been working flat-out for the success meets her company’s new senior intern Ki-ho(played by Choi Min Shik).
Even though he’s a man with 37 years of experience, Ki-ho struggles at WOO22 adjusting himself to the digital workplace and freewheeling office culture. But thanks to Ki-ho’s diligence and down-to-earth personality, Sun-woo gradually opens up to him, and two, completely different in every possible way, share POVs and experiences that they lack in each other, which eventually brings an unexpected warmth in their hectic everyday lives…
What to expect
Choi Min-sik plays Ki-ho, a man with 37 years of work behind him who starts over as a senior intern at WOO22, a fashion label run by the much younger Sun-woo (Han So-hee). The movie watches him fumble through the digital tools and casual office rhythms that everyone else takes for granted, while Sun-woo slowly lets her guard down around someone whose competence looks nothing like hers. At 133 minutes the pace is unhurried, and the pleasure is in the small adjustments the two make toward each other rather than in big dramatic turns. Rated I, no age restriction. It is playing widely — 15 cinemas across 11 districts, 106 screenings over the next seven days — so catching a session is straightforward. Tickets from HK$60. Korean audio with English and Chinese subtitles.
