What it is about

A stunning 4K restoration of this masterpiece will return to big screen celebrating its 30th anniversary. Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega are two hitmen out to retrieve a suitcase stolen from their employer, mob boss Marsellus Wallace. Wallace has also asked Vincent to take his wife Mia out a few days later when Wallace himself will be out of town. Butch Coolidge is an aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight. Honey Bunny and Pumpkin are a couple of young lovers and small time thieves who decide they need a change of venue. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are woven together in a wildly entertaining and exhilarating motion picture adventure that both thrills and amuses.

What to expect

Quentin Tarantino’s second feature returns in a 4K restoration for its 30th anniversary. The 154-minute cut intercuts Los Angeles hitmen, a mob wife, a boxer on the take, and a pair of diner stick-up artists, with the chronology scrambled so that cause and consequence sit side by side. The dialogue is profane, discursive, and often very funny; the violence is abrupt and matter-of-fact. Hong Kong audiences get a Category III certificate, so admission is strictly 18 and over. It is playing in select cinemas with Chinese subtitles. The audience score sits at 8.5 from more than 30,000 votes.
