The verdict
There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is not currently playing in Hong Kong cinemas. 92 minutes.
What it is about
Diane despises men as much as she desires them. Her mother was raped three years before giving birth to Diane. As Diane finds out, she has only one goal: avenging her mother. But Mom has one thing on her mind: finally becoming the woman she should have been. Between the one who wants to remember and the one who wants to forget, tensions run high.
What to expect
Belgian directors Ann Sirot and Raphael Balboni keep the focus tight on two women pulling in opposite directions. Diane learns her mother was raped before she was born and sets out to avenge her; her mother wants only to leave the past behind and become the person she feels she was meant to be. The movie stays inside that domestic stand-off — one wants to remember, the other to forget — and lets the friction build without forcing a tidy outcome. It runs 92 minutes, is in French with English subtitles, and screens as part of FCP 2026 from 10 October. Ninon Borsei and Sandrine Blancke lead the cast. Expect a limited release, so check individual cinemas for times.
