What it is about
Dendelion, Baraban, Léonto and Taraxa are four seeds which used to belong to the same dandelion. Rescued from a nuclear explosion that destroyed the Earth, they find themselves hurled into the cosmos, traveling through planets and constellations. When they land on an unknown land, they set off on an unforgettable adventure to find a new home and settle for good.

What to expect
Momoko Seto’s hand-drawn feature follows four seeds blasted into space after Earth is destroyed. The 77-minute movie screens without subtitles in its original French — something to weigh up if you don’t speak the language, though the wordless stretches of cosmic wandering and creature encounters carry much of the story visually. It plays twice as part of anifest 2026: 22 August (Sat) at 5:50pm with the short Dough Can… (5 mins), and 9 September (Wed) at 7:30pm with ROBOY – SURROUND SOUND (16 mins). Category I, so all ages can attend. Two screenings only — booking ahead is sensible.
