What to expect
A cheer screening of the Ave Mujica theatrical feature means the room is expected to be loud — light sticks, calls, the works. The story picks up about half a year after the band's re-debut, with popularity climbing and the members' solo work settling into place. Togawa Sakiko pushes for a members-only masquerade as their next show, while her fixation on "becoming a god" quietly steers the drama. At 83 minutes it is a tight sit. The movie is rated I, plays at a single cinema with only two screenings in the coming week, and the cheapest seat is HKD 125. English and Chinese subtitles.
