Aiden is a young cop sent undercover into a world run by a drug-lord drag queen, where he meets Cody, a sex worker he can't quite read. Dean Francis keeps the focus tight on the shifting power between the two men—desire, suspicion, and the question of who is really running the operation. The movie leans into its seedy interiors and the paranoia of a cop who may already be compromised by his own department. It is a psychological crime piece more than an action ride; the tension comes from what people do to each other in private.
