The verdict
There are not yet enough audience votes to give this a reliable score. It is not currently playing in Hong Kong cinemas. Category IIA · 128 minutes.
What it is about
The Japanese national soccer team has long suffered from a lack of scoring power. To break this deadlock, a top-secret project named “Blue Lock” was launched.
Three hundred high school strikers gathered at the facility must undergo numerous trials, with only the final survivor becoming the world's greatest striker. However, the cruel condition was that those eliminated would permanently lose their eligibility to join the national team.
Can the unknown high school player Yoichi Isagi (Fumiya Takahashi) defeat 299 others and become the strongest ace striker!?
What to expect
This is an ADO cheering screening, so the house rules are the opposite of a normal cinema: you are meant to shout, chant, and react as if you were in the stadium. The movie itself adapts the manga’s opening arc — 300 teenage strikers locked into a brutal elimination camp where losing means your national-team dream dies for good. Fumiya Takahashi leads the cast as Yoichi Isagi, the unknown who has to outlast 299 rivals.
At 128 minutes it is a long sit, and the IIA certificate puts the lower age at 12. Only two screenings are listed across the next seven days, split between two cinemas in two districts, so availability is genuinely tight. English and Chinese subtitles are on the print. The cheapest ticket we can see is HK$160.
