劇情簡介
1995年12月8日，一場突如其來的災難襲向了家庭事業雙得意時裝雜誌《ELLE》總編Jean-Dominique Bauby。他的腦幹突然中風，繼而引發極其罕見、概率極低的閉鎖症候羣。罹患此症的吉恩全身癱瘓，只有左眼尚能自由活動。他形容自己就如同困在潛水鐘裡一般，身體被緊緊箍住，無法動彈，而心靈卻像蝴蝶一樣在廣闊的天地裡自由飛翔。吉恩憑藉著左眼和頑強的意志以及語音矯正師的協助，與世界做著無聲的交流。
